Let's Start With why AdSense is Good For Bloggers ?
AdSense is an advertising program from Google that allows content creators to earn money by placing ads on their sites. However, many people are unaware of this program. I have learned about it from a friend who had been using it for some time. He told me how much he was making through this and how it enabled him to continue creating quality content.
I've seen other bloggers make thousands of dollars through this program, so I decided to give it a try myself. This has given me the opportunity to create free resources for my readers, while at the same time earning a little bit of extra income.
This post may contain affiliate links, meaning if you click on one of them and purchase something, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
Why would anyone want to use an ad-supported site like Blogger? Well, first of all, Blogger has become a dominant platform for content creation among bloggers. If you can get your name out there, you'll begin to build authority and recognition, and eventually attract paid writing clients. And don't forget that Google owns YouTube, which means it's possible to reach people directly. So even if you're not getting paid to do blogging, you can still blog for exposure and build a following.
How does AdSense work? Once you sign up, you'll need to go through a verification process. You will then need to fill out a form describing your blog and any associated topics. Then you wait for approval. When approved, you will be able to select the type of ads you wish to display. There are three options:
Banner Ads - These appear at the top of your pages. They are usually rectangular boxes with a picture or logo
Here Some Useful Tips For Blogger :
1. When you first signup:
you need to find a niche. Just pick something that you like or are passionate about. The rest will come naturally.
2. Make sure to set a high quality banner ad:
A low-quality banner will decrease your earnings drastically. Also, don’t use too many banners – less is better.
3. Advertise early and often:
By advertising earlier than other sites, you can get more impressions. This will help your ad rank higher. You may also find that your initial investment in promoting your site pays off in greater revenue down the road.
4. Be aware of what triggers ads:
Sometimes certain keywords or links can cause your ad to pop up unexpectedly. Stay alert!
5. Try different types of ads:
If you don't like one type, try others. Some work better on some pages while others perform well on others. Experimenting will give you insight into which ones convert best.
6. Use multiple campaigns:
Each campaign has its own set of parameters, including keyword lists, placement areas, etc... Keep track of how each campaign performs so that if one starts performing poorly, you'll know to change it up.
7. Monitor performance:
Once you've established multiple campaigns, keep track of how each one does. Track things like clicks, impressions, CTR (Click-through Rate), and conversion rate. This will help you gauge whether the ads are working and where you need to tweak them.
8. Write content that people want to read:
If your target audience wants information about healthy eating, then provide them with information that they are looking for. If they want to know how to lose weight, don't give them tips about going to see a doctor. They may get their information from other sources, but not from you.
9. Create great titles/subtitles:
When readers click on your ad, they should only have to do a quick scan before deciding whether they want to see what you have to offer. Make sure that the first words of your description tell someone what the post is about. This makes it easier for visitors to decide if they are interested in reading your article.
10. Use AdWords wisely:
We recommend using the Google AdWords system for online advertising. You can use this program to select keywords related to your niche and type of product. Once you've chosen a keyword, enter it into the search box. Then, you'll be able to choose categories that relate to your posts.
11. Be patient:
Building a blog takes time. It's not something we do overnight. Instead, we work hard at building our blogs over a period of months. Our goal is to build a website where we earn money each month. That means we need to focus on creating quality content rather than just trying to promote ourselves.
12. Have patience:
Most people who start blogging experience moments of doubt along the way. At times, we even question whether we're doing the right thing by starting a blog. Just remember that success comes from being persistent. Don't give up. Keep trying until you succeed.
13. Build relationships:
A blog isn't just about posting content. It's also about building connections with others. Social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest allow us to connect with people around the world. Don't forget to make friends and gain followers through social networking.
14. Make sure that your ads are visible and unobtrusive:
Don't have them cover up valuable content or make people click away from the page without realizing it. If they're not noticeable enough, Google may decide that your site isn't worth advertising on.
